Night at the Museum presented by Don Valley North Toyota, Don Valley North Lexus and Genesis Markham returns to Markham Museum grounds this summer! On four different summer nights, bring your lawn chairs and watch a family friendly movie under the stars. These events are FREE but registration is required.

Night at the Museum AppleFest Ticket Giveaway
Each movie night attendees will be given the opportunity to enter for a chance to win tickets to AppleFest!
To enter, participants must complete two lines of the provided Bingo Card and submit with their name and contact information.

ELIGIBILITY – The Contest is open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. The Contest is not open to elected officials or employees of The Corporation of the City of Markham (“Markham”), or members of their immediate families living in the same household. Markham reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the potential winners. Two AppleFest tickets per movie night have an approximate value of $28.00.
CONTEST PERIOD - The Contest starts and ends on 4 designated dates and times: Thursday July 23, 2026 at 8:45 PM to 11:59 PM, Thursday July 30, 2026 at 8:45 PM to 11:59 PM, Thursday August 13, 2026 at 8:15 PM to 11:59 PM, and Thursday August 27, 2026 at 8:15 PM to 11:59 PM.
ENTRY – No purchase is necessary to enter this giveaway. To participate, submit a movie bingo card with two lines completed. Markham shall not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected or stolen entries, or the inability to process entries. All Contest entries are the property of Markham.
PRIZES - The following prize will be awarded: 2 AppleFest Tickets per each Night at the Museum movie night to Markham Museum’s AppleFest event. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received by the Contest closing date. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Markham reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes are awarded as-is, and no warranties, guarantees or representations are implied or expressed.
DRAW – Potential winners will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received. Contest draw will take place the Friday following each movie night. Potential winner will be contacted through email or phone by Markham Museum. Up to three attempts to contact a potential winner will be made. After three unsuccessful attempts have been made to contact the potential winner, another name will be drawn. This process will be repeated until the prize has been awarded.
PRIZE CLAIM - Prior to receiving the prize, each potential winner will be required to: (1) show valid photo ID; (2) correctly answer a skill-testing question; and (3) sign a declaration confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, releasing Markham and its representatives from all liability in connection with the Contest and the prize, and consenting to the use of his/her name, city of residence and photograph (or other likeness), without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Markham.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - By entering the Contest, entrants agree that Markham shall not be liable for, and entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold Markham, its elected officials, directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates harmless from any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from entrant’s participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession or use of any prize that may be won.
PERSONAL INFORMATION - By entering the Contest, entrants consent to their personal information being stored, used and processed by Markham for the purposes of this Contest and any other purpose indicated by the entrant.
GENERAL - By entering this Contest, entrants agree to comply with these Contest Rules. All decisions of Markham are final. Markham may, in its sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering the Contest whom it believes to be abusing the Contest Rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and entering more than once. Markham reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest Rules at any time without notice. The Contest will be conducted in Canada (excluding Quebec) and is subject to applicable Canadian law.

- Where is the event located?
The event will take place at Markham Museum, located at 9350 Markham Road.
- When do the movies start?
We open our gates to the grounds roughly 45 mins before the movie starting. This allows everyone enough time to grab some popcorn, find a seat and enjoy some of our backyard games. Our July movies open the gates at 8:45 PM and our August movies at 8:15 PM.
- What happens if there is inclement weather?
In case of inclement weather, please check your email and our socials @markhammuseum on Facebook and Instagram for cancellations and postponed dates.
- Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available onsite and in the surrounding areas.
- Can I use my Markham Museum Membership to gain entry?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event. Markham Museum Members receive early access to tickets.
- Can I use Canoo to access this event?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event.
- Can I use my ASTC, Attractions Ontario, ROAM memberships or Free Admission Pass to gain entry?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event.
- What do I do if I can’t make it?
If you’re no longer able to attend, please cancel your tickets to allow others the opportunity to attend. Please email us at museuminfo@markham.ca if you have any difficulties in doing so.
- Are walk-ins available?
Yes. Walk-ins may be admitted after our ticketed guests have been checked in, space permitting.
- Are dogs welcome?
Yes. We ask all owners or handlers to please have your dog(s) on a leash at all times, please pick up after them, and be mindful of other dogs and wild animals we may have on site.
Leash and Behavior Policy: All dogs must remain on a leash and under the direct control of their owner or handler at all times while attending the event. Owners and handlers assume full responsibility for their dog(s)' behaviour, waste, and temperament. Markham Museum, its staff, sponsors, and affiliated entities reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to require the immediate removal of any dog and its owner/handler from the event if the dog's behaviour is deemed aggressive, disruptive, unsafe, or otherwise causes inconvenience, distress, or harm to other participants, animals, staff, or property.
Notice: Wild animals have been observed on the property. We advise all owners to exercise caution while on site and follow the directions and guidance provided by staff to help ensure everyone's safety.
