International Museum Day
Celebrate International Museum Day with free admission to Markham Museum! Take this opportunity to participate in our family activities and enjoy our current exhibitions, Everyday Superheroes, Markham Community Makers, and A Picture of Markham: The Art of Pat Wheeler.
In our Transportation Hall, community partners will showcase technologies such as VR, 3D printing, laser cutting, and tech innovations, alongside a booth on museum collections management and conservation. Maxwell Cabin will feature weavers demonstrating historical textile technologies, while the Print Shop will showcase 19th-century printing technologies and the evolution of communication. Visitors can also try their hand at mini putt with our 9-hole course featuring replicas of key historical buildings around Markham.
Please note that there will be no regular tours during the event.
